Position Summary and Responsibilities Teledyne is now looking for a materials lab supervisor with a background in high temperature materials processing for space flight quality products.
The desired candidate will have demonstrated experience with material production that includes glove boxes, acid cleaning, ball milling, hot pressing, precision cutting and high temperature brazing, along with leadership skills.
Experience with material analysis include SEM is highly desired.
The successful candidate will lead a group of highly skilled technicians that are a part of a larger engineering group that supports multiple product lines as well as developing custom products for high value applications.
This will include working with engineering dept managers, Program Managers, and engineers to report progress, deliver items on time, meet product specification and quality assurance processes.

Organize work plans to optimize productivity of technical staffWork with department and program managers, as well as lead engineers to understand requirementsDirect engineering technicians and team to produce high quality productManage all aspect of technical training and lead training as neededWork with Engineering mgt to plan and execute projects Qualifications
Qualifications:
Required:
10 years experience with some combination of glove boxes, ball mills, acid etchants, hot pressing, high temperature vacuum brazing and leak detection.
People leadership skillsHigh energy and self-motivated with good problem-solving skillsDesired (considered but not required):
