The Director of Change, Engagement, and Communications will have primary responsibility to manage both internal and external change, communications, training and creative services for Sinclair IT. He/she will be responsible for engaging Sinclair IT employees and the business to move forward with us in our evolving business. He/she will work with Sinclair IT Leadership to develop appropriate methods to update the business and other key stakeholders on changes and impacts within Sinclair IT as they occur; and to highlight successes, efficiencies and best practices to build support for delivery of key customer transformational programs and projects. The candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all the team members. Directs and oversees change, communications and training programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. May conduct market or public opinion research to assess program outcomes. Suggests promotional campaign ideas in various types of media, as well as counsels top management on effective change, communication and training strategies. Key Responsibilities: Works jointly with cross-functional teams to create, plan, deploy, and manage large scale, enterprise-wide transformational programs and projects. Consults, supports, coaches, and facilitates customized continuous improvement, OD, project management and change management strategies and solutions that build leader and organization capability and drive sustainable change Drive planning and execution of change & engagement programs, to include: market research, internal and external change, communications and training, ensuring successful implementation, customer satisfaction, integration and understanding across the business. Maintain accountability and responsibility for Sinclair IT messaging, and ensure that key messages are delivered in a consistent, effective voice and vision, reflective of the brand promise and integrity of the organization.  Partner with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure unified business planning, with comprehensive plans to ensure continued growth and relevance to target markets. Develop, execute, monitor and communicate program plan and budget and connection to strategy in area of responsibility. Ensures that change plans focus on leadership advocacy, engagement of stakeholders, on-going communications, manager coaching, development of training as needed, and reinforcement plans throughout a project with an eye toward decreasing resistance and positively accelerating change to meet short and long term business objectives Key Skills/Experience: Bachelors Degree in communications, journalism, or business Masters Degree a plus or continuing education in Change Management would be a significant advantage 5-10 years experience in a related field(s). Highly developed change management, interpersonal and communications skills Experienced in creative media, communications, and project mgmt. Ability to quickly build relationships and establish credibility across the functions and with business leaders Developed interpersonal and communications skills Understanding of general marketing communications practice Strong writing skills Experience of project life-cycles Analytical, strong emotional intelligence and instinctive when it comes to human behavior A self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is the daily norm Ability to structure and write reports and plans in support of activities Proven IT skills - in particular, MS office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace! The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
