Finance Manager - Business Development

Specific job duties include but are not limited to:   Ensuring that current and future business opportunities are fully evaluated, including: Financial projections Likelihood of success/market fit Proper leveraging of existing assets Fit with Sinclair's strategic goals across content, marketing, and distribution Developing an understanding of Sinclair's key assets and services and producing analyses in conjunction with other departments for senior management Supervising the collection and analysis of data from both internal and external sources to evaluate profitability across multiple lines of business Conducting independent research into new business opportunities Representing the interests of the company in negotiation with outside parties Constructing analyses to evaluate potential strategic alliances Assisting with the interpretation of internal and external data with the intention of discerning opportunities for development Completing ad hoc projects as assigned Managing and developing financial analyst(s)   Required Skills   Requirements:  7+ years of pertinent experience - various backgrounds will be considered MBA or equivalent is preferred 2+ years supervisory experience is preferred Strong strategic thinking and an ability to solve problems creatively Strong communication skills with a demonstrable history of working collaboratively and building relationships with all levels of management Advanced Excel skills, experience in Business Intelligence systems is a plus Ability to deliver high quality results on tight deadlines. 11997

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
