Construction inspectors needed with a background in construction inspection of traffic control devices (signals, signing, lighting, and ITS) and/or roadway construction with knowledge of the installation of traffic control devices.

Duties include tracking and monitoring the work performed by signal, signing, lighting and ITS contractors, reviewing documents and ensuring compliance in the field, resolving construction issues, documenting work through the use of inspector s daily report (IDR) and reporting on construction statuses. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully manage multiple crews.

Field inspectors must be willing to work alternate schedules (i. e., evenings, nights and/or weekends) as necessary to support the project schedule and the contractor s working hours.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
