Business Systems Analyst III

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST III Opportunity


One of our client?s in the Greater Baltimore, MD area currently has a requirement for an experienced Business System Analyst to be responsible for implementing business driven applications through research, analysis, design, implementation and testing.? The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Business Analyst is responsible for successful delivery of PLM process transformation, change management initiatives, and support of production systems where assigned.


?RESPONSIBILITIES


As part of the IT PLM Team, the Business System Analyst is responsible for:




  • Serve as a PLM team member supporting the implementation of SAP Recipe Development in 9 global locations.?


  • Contribute to the design of the PLM / SAP RD S4 HANA design plan for a future roll out.


  • Provide guidance on best practice, work with the business on their processes to leverage standard functionalities to contribute to build a roadmap.


  • Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.


  • Works closely with your peers/leadership and business to understand current processes to provide configuration expertise, in SAP and other designated core systems


  • Develops in PLM area functional designs that address business requirements and leverage strategic IT solutions more precisely in EH&S, packaging, SDS (Safety Data sheet).


  • Develop functional specifications for system changes.


  • Support the governance model for enhancements to IT solution portfolio - focused approach but ensures compliance to the business goals and objectives.


  • Keep up-to-date with best practice methodology, keep informed of new concepts / technology around the area and translate to business.


  • Provide an understanding of the regulatory environment and it?s constraint.


  • Review and establish business processes from IT standpoint to mitigate risks in R&D area.


  • Understanding of product characteristics, ingredient, allergen, regulatory information the person must be in position to participate in functional discussion with the business.


  • Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve business problems


  • Development of standards and procedures



Experience & Skill Requirements




  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience working in PLM environment at a consumer industrial food company or pharmacy industry.


  • Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology or related field


  • Experience with Planning and Executing PLM Program Deployments (a plus) with using solutions SAP-PLM, SAP RD or similar tools required.


  • Strong analytical and team working skills with a prior experience in working in a global structure


  • Strong interpersonal skills- needs to interact and influence up to a Senior Director level and Vendors of? software solutions or service providers


  • Fluent in English


  • SAP MM, Recipe and BOM expertise desirable


  • SAP EH&S, RD implementation and support experience is required.


  • Experience with S4 HANA


  • Dangerous good SAP configuration is required


  • Clear expertise in material master data from characteristic, regulatory, food technical, quality assurance standpoint.?


  • Strong communication and ability to bring the business to use standard processes and best practices.


  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations.


  • Solid interaction, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.


  • Strong problem-solving skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
