Supply Chain Tech Pack Leader

The role of the Supply Chain Tech Pack Leader is to identify and implement packaging and packaging related changes needed to maintain and improve Third Party Manufacturers (TPM) supply chain results.
The areas of responsibility and business contributions are mainly on cost savings ($/unit), business service (top line $), process control, sourcing reallocation and manufacturing capacity increase.

Responsibilities:




  1. Lead troubleshooting to resolve technical issues that affect service (delivery reliability), responsiveness, quality, or business continuity at the TPM.

  2. Lead loss analysis to identify cost savings opportunities in the areas of package and process design, as well as work process design

  3. Lead capacity expansion work as well as monitor tool replacement and validation work.

  4. Act in delegation of R&D Packaging on end-to-end accountability for primary and secondary packaging delivery by product formula or pack material changes

  5. Contribute to new initiative start-up (risk analysis, plant capability inputs)

  6. Support final industrialization and ramp-up for new initiatives

  7. Lead and deliver the technical packaging work required for material and sourcing changes

  8. Update and maintain technical standards as needed to support changes

  9. Assess new supplier capability and provide technical coaching to TPMs in their delivery of improvement plans

  10. Support BCP (business continuity plan) / Compliance

  11. Support quality improvement & continuous improvement

  12. Participate in TPM monthly meetings and scorecard reviews


Ideal Candidates Requirements:




  • Extensive experience (5-10+ years) successfully leading package development work, designing new products and /or optimizing existing packages - preferably in the FMCG industry


  • Profound know how in manufacturing packaging processes like injection molding, blow molding, printing and packaging material characteristics


  • Manufacturing, quality, and supplier management experience is a plus


  • Strong analytical mindset, methodical approach to problem-solving


  • Operate with discipline as the role will require compliance with a number of Quality Assurance and Technical Packaging procedures, policies and standards


  • Have an eye for detail to ensure specifications are of the highest standard and compliant with company policies and procedures


  • Ensure all project activities are completed on-time and in a quality manner to avoid impact to project delivery timings


  • Have an ability to plan and manage own priorities with limited guidance


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills as the role requires interaction with multiple functions internally and externally


  • Fluent in German and English; Any other language skills are an advantage

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
