We are looking for a Senior HR systems whisperer with a vision to be part of something BIG! We need you to help us shape and own the design, development, operations, and audit of our next-gen HR Technology platform. We're not looking for a one and done engagement. While no day will be exactly the same; typically, you'll get to do the following:
Actively listen and interact with internal/external customers/vendors explaining and resolving complex issues simply while exceeding expectations
Own issues by communicating with customers/vendors, without assigning blame when things go wrong
Configuring the system for upgrades, updates, new feature adoption, building reports, complex queries, and auditing data integrity, converting data for acquisitions, etc?
Supporting development and fault handling of outbound and inbound interfaces
Thoroughly documenting and monitoring development allowing others to follow in your footsteps and ensuring projects are delivered timely
Proposing compelling cases utilizing process improvement, data analysis, and HR technology
Rigorously testing for potential issues proactively and creating repeatable processes/scripts
Patiently training others to be as awesome as you are with technology solutions and building an operational procedure library
Finding relevant detail in release documentation and connecting the dots to larger systems strategy for planning what to do at all levels
Keeping up to date on HR technology trends and acting as a trusted advisor and leader within the HRIS/Technology team
To be successful, your background should look a lot like this:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as IT, Computer Science, Business, etc?
A few years experience writing PL/SQL queries from scratch and getting behind the scenes with business intelligence tools like OBIEE, Cognos, OTBI, BIP, etc? to create reports and dashboards beyond the basics (HCM Cloud or EBS tools preferred)
Expert level skill with Excel including VBA code, vlookups, pivot tables, spreadsheet compare, text to columns, data import/export, etc?
Practical experience building complex relational databases with tools such as Access, SQL Server or Oracle Database.
Some experience configuring, using, supporting, and/or training on SaaS HR Technology, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud ? E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft would also be ok
So good at integrations that you may be a cartographer in your spare time
Successfully organized chaotic and disparate data sets via a systematic data clean up and audit program
An eagerness to quickly learn new skills and a desire to train others
Demonstrated successful coordination of multiple projects competing for resources with complex requirements
Demonstrated ability to organize project deliverables, delegate to others and follow through
It'd be fantastic if you also had some of these:
Practical knowledge regarding the use of flex fields and fast formulas
Specialized training in data analytics and visualization
Experience building and supporting integrations and reporting for Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll Cloud
Advanced coding skills like XML, XSLT, HTML, Java, Expression Language, etc?
Can see into the future (with data)
Hands on experience with middleware solutions such as SOA cloud and web services
HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP demonstrating your understanding of HR

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
