We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kennel Manager to join our team.
As a Kennel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kennel facility, ensuring the well-being and care of all animals under our care.

Duties:
- Supervise and manage kennel staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations - Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, including regular disinfection and waste management - Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the kennel, promptly reporting any concerns to veterinary staff - Coordinate feeding schedules and administer medications as directed by veterinarians - Provide exercise and enrichment activities for animals to promote their physical and mental well-being - Oversee the intake and release process for animals, ensuring accurate documentation and proper identification - Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as needed - Assist with customer service duties, including answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about our services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting as a veterinary assistant or technician is highly preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis - Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures related to animal care and handling - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience working with kennels or pet care facilities is a plus - Knowledge of dog training techniques is beneficial - Exceptional customer service skills If you are passionate about animal welfare, have experience in veterinary settings, and possess strong leadership abilities, we encourage you to apply for the position of Kennel Manager.
