We're seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our team in any of our locations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
Prior experience in nonprofit, construction, real estate, CIRA, and healthcare highly desired.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax issues and provide solutions to clients Assist clients in tax planning and compliance strategies Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of tax returns Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients accordingly Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledgeWhy join us? Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, Prior experience with nonprofit, construction, real estate, CIRA, or healthcare preferred.
CPA or in the process of obtaining CPA certification preferred Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are a self-starter with a passion for tax and a desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting Tax Associate position.
