Answers general questions and providing information for residents, staff, and visitors to Broadmead.

Responsible for dispensing of all packages delivered to residents or staff per proper policy and procedure.
3.
Responsible for shipping of UPS packages from the Reception Desk.
4.
Responsible for maintaining the calendar for reservations of Holly House guest rooms, the disbursement of keys to guests of Holly House, and for preparing the appropriate Holly House room fee bills for the Accounting Department, as well as ensuring all staff members have an emailed up to date calendar of guests.
5.
Oversees the log book maintained at the Reception Desk for the reservation of all public spaces for activities, meetings, programs, events, and special functions.
6.
Responsible for preparing the Resident Weekly Calendar.
Switchboard 1.
Responsible for all switchboard and telephone communications at Broadmead's Community Center.
2.
Must be professional in appearance and behavior being in uniform at all times.
3.
Greets all visitors or callers to Broadmead in a friendly and professional manner, with a clear and distinct voice, and provides directions and assistance as appropriate.
4.
Maintains an appropriate manner with residents, visitors, and staff, always keeping in mind that they are an extremely important link in effective communications as well as often the first impression to Broadmead.
5.
Must be able to handle a high volume of phone calls, often simultaneously.
6.
Screens incoming calls to Broadmead and directs them to the appropriate department.
7.
Maintains a log book at the switchboard with any pertinent information for the next shift which should be read at the start of each shift.
8.
Maintains a professional appearance of the switchboard area at all times.
9.
Assists in training with part-time switchboard operators as requested.
10.
Assists with general clerical assignments from other departments as needed.
11.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Security Functions/Duties:
1.
Monitors and responds to all emergency call systems (fire, community center and residential).
2.
Maintains electronic away log information and coordinates resident check in as needed daily.
3.
Maintains observation of surveillance equipment on perimeter road and entrances.
4.
Maintains access control to campus.
5.
Accountable for promoting internal customer service.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
